Solution Webcam problem in Windows Vista

Well here again, trying to help all mortals like me who have more than any headache with a built-in webcam to bring the notebook hp dv6000 series and dv2000 series (some of them).

Ok, as an introduction I will start by saying that the problem is very common in the notebook or laptop series hp dv2000/6000/9000 (from what I've seen). To start manufacturing the PC Unknown years presents no problem with the webcam, even one of the first things one does in these pc's is to use the webcam is seeing both the msn as the quickplay. But do nothing more than a couple of reboots the computer and this will not be on msn more, including trying to use the webcam with msn, it will throw an error and have to restart your msn, this infinitely without obtaining a favorable outcome. Once

discussed the problem, I will start by saying that the webcam you have these notebooks are Chicony or Ricoh. If you have the first (so chicony), the solution described below, in the case of the Ricoh I know, but I read a few lines on the HP site which refers to the problem and should be modified regsitro to windows vista solution.

webcam have to determine that you must enter

-device manager> imaging devices-> webcam Hp (properties)

on the first screen of the general property window shows the mark of the webcam.

Good for the lucky ones like me who have the Chicony webcam here is the solution.

But I must say that this solution the forum take a , but publish it here because it took me long to find the solution.

"Solution:

" - Download the following file:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9E9B418H (reuploaded)

- Decompress the file and run. (Will ask you to reboot the pc, do it and wait for the reset and hardware detection)

- then go to Device Manager-> devices, image-> webcam Hp (or cam usb 2.0)

- enter webcam properties and then update the device.

- choose to search driver on your computer.

-then goes to update driver, choose search
driver on your computer
-walks to choose from a list of drivers on my computer
-disable option-compatible devices
chicony
-head to choose Acer Crystal Eye webcam ( probably ask you if you're sure to install that driver q is not "compatible") accept without fear
-expected aq
-install all imaging devices now on Acer Crystal Eye webcam saldra
-and-play your webcam as well and not always with official drivers hp q recognize the camera when I wanted "

I hope someone else will take her.

PS: I noticed that the driver is also compatible to use in Windows XP because Vista had me bored, so for those who want to switch to XP will also work.

The Noob of denuevo ... Solution disappearance of CD / DVD drive in Windows Xp / vista

Wow, again over here.

a while since I did not time to post on here, but I have had the opportunity to write about technology or helpful tips, what better way to express it in this forgotten blog.

Well in this case it is a notebook HP dv9000 series that has a co-worker, for the bad luck he happened to install nero 7 on Windows Vista (Microsoft), but the simple act of rebooting the system to effect the installation did, he would disappear (not shown in the browser files) the dvd drive (HL-DT-ST GSA-4084N) and thus could neither play or record anything.

is at this point is that I jump to the loose and tell him to deal with restoration tool windows, and it worked, so if you delete some games that had been installed before the restore point (details).

to all this as it was crossed to install nero and roxio brings the notebook to record again and installs it happens the same problem, except that Once the restorer of windows did not give the option of returning a point right back to recognize the DVD drive mentioned above.

So this time I could not give me slack, but even as Noob butler, so get to work (I told it), so he turned to past experiences on other computers, go to Device Manager and you uninstall the DVD and then restart the computer and Windows recognizes it, but did not, because it did not work, so I summon up patience, and began searching for information on the network, the first ampolletazo I came to a neuron was to find new driver, but this dvd recorder because it is very new and no less possessed Simply update firmware. The other neuron

I left at 00:20 Am was half dazed and did not appear on the network an indication that could fix the little problem, I told him to try to support all in a flash drive and send it back to the sevice technician (the choro and saying how I can win this cag ....), and found a frog forum where they had occurred and showed disappearance of DVD correct steps in the Windows registry (so understood) so a few more words the search in google and found a forum where someone gringo had occurred the same problem but with a notebook HP dv8000 series I think.

This is the solution I said, so he put his hand to the record (previously saved a copy of it, just in case) and chaaachcaaan, appeared to reboot again the DVD and everything back to normal.

For anyone who read all this bullshit and is thinking about what time the WEO ... I will give the solution, here it is:

start-> run-> regedit->

Log in to the following registry path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

/ System / Curretcontrolset / Control / Class / {4D36E965-E325
-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Then the right side panel are a number of log lines, locate Upperfiles chains and / or Lowerfiles, then erase and restart the system.

This smart and the reader or / or CD / DVD returns to the file browser again. So

is king, but for Scoundrels. I hope these solutions will help someone else lines. Comments

problem appears in all applications installed nero (in basic installation) installed an application called InCD, which I believe is causing the problem, and that is apparently modified the Windows registry generated by this filter, with which the system could not recognize the DVD, so for this particular case would have to choose custom installation and disable the installation of InCD.
