Kit winter, all we ever have ice cream in an outdoor unit, as this system is to prevent the unit from freezing outside.
The kit consists of a low resistance of 1.5 meters long which is mounted on the bottom of the outdoor unit silicone rolling resistance to the battery, this resistance is connected to a thermostat, which acts as the temperature environment detected by the probe is below the thermostat setpoint, the act makes the resistance, thus avoiding the freezing of the outdoor coil (outdoor unit) operating the heat pump.
